Doc Fear is based on a hardware unit that uses passive LC circuitry with
class-A triode vacuum tube stages for input and output.
It is highly inspired by the classic Pultec design, but all in all it is more a handrcrafted, unqique, tool than a just another Pultec clone.
The Mammoth EQ library is inspired by a world-renowned hardware EQ that is used for both mixing and mastering by some of the best producers & sound engineers in the business.
Its sound is often described as musical, smooth, or acoustic due to its abandonment of any active components in the circuit.
